My name is Katie Knight and I have worked in the disabilities community for over 10 years, specializing in adults and transitioning adults with autism. I have experience in behavioral supports, community integration, employment opportunities, job coaching, group homes and providing applied behavior analysis therapy both in home and in school as well as community settings. I have over 2 years supervising experience with hiring, training, evaluating and firing staff. After over 7 years in the school setting I shifted my focus towards in home needs, adult services and community supports.
I received my Masters degree from the Johns Hopkins University in Special Education, Severe to Profound disabilities in 2013. I completed the Support Broker certification to support those using Self Direction as a service provider in November 2015. You can view my linkedIn account HERE.
